Book 1: (THE TAMULI)

Danger stalked Queen Ehlana’s realm. When an ambasador from the far-off Tamul Empire begged for help, Sparhawk, Ehlana’s champion and Prince Consort, was the Emperor’s last hope. Comments: There is nothing really wrong with this book except that it did not catch my fancy. I do like Sparhawk and his companions and the writing was good, I think that the story just wasn't as interesting as some of the authors other works and I might have done a little too much comparing or had a little too high expectations. Eddings was my first fantasy author, he holds a special place in my heart, unfortunately this book didn't do it for me. Still, for you it might be the epic you're looking for.
