THE GIRL WITH ALL THE GIFTS by M.R. Carey

Melanie is a very special girl. Dr Caldwell calls her “our little genius.”

Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don’t like her. She jokes that she won’t bite, but they don’t laugh.

Comments: Morally I cannot recommend this book. But I must say it is one of the best Zombie books I've ever read. So detailed, thought out, plausible, tense, pretty much all around amazing. If you like this sort of thing read this one now! So it's in my favorites. BUT is one of those I have to put in the garbage too because there was a lot of cussing and blood and guts and horror.
