VAMPIRE ACADEMY by Richelle Mead

Book 1: THE VAMPIRE ACADEMY SERIES

St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger. . . .

Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.

Some pretty sexual stuff in here, yet it's in the emotion and the way it's written and less in the graphic details of bodies.

Comments: This book has lots of questionable teenage activity. I would not want a teen to read it. That said, I LOVED this book. Everything about it was excellent in a entertainment light. Totally sassy, totally funny just awesome from start to finish. However cool the leads and premise are, this book is about vampires and it is very sexy in nature. As much as I hate to put it in the garbage, that's really where is belongs on morality.

Of course, who wouldn’t love this book! In my opinion tho, for morality reasons, I feel it’s inappropriate for teenagers but that is just my opinion. Thanks for the comment. What other books do you love?
