Thrilled to have boys to carry on his name, William invests time in the two brothers, but the little girl is tended to by a negligent nanny. Finally, Jennings seeks help from his sister and soon becomes acquainted with her neighbor, Marianne Walker. Her strength and faith intrigues Jennings, but will he allow himself to fall for her and the God she loves?

Comments: This was a beautiful christian romance. The main character grows in so many ways and during his struggles you fall in love with him but also want to hit him over the head with something because he behaves like an idiot. The heroine is lovely and passionate and strong. The pace is good. The tension builds. The plot is sound. However the historical aspects are not accurate.
